I got it from the dump. For free.
It’s an old fiberglass sail boat. Minus mast, sail, centreboard, and rudder. No obvious cracks in the hull, although given how it’s been tossed around I’m not positive it floats. Shouldn’t need too much to repair I hope, beyond sourcing all the missing components. If not it’ll just go straight back.
I know nothing about sailing other than what I’ve learned from James May’s Triumph Herald. What could possibly go wrong?

It appears I need to spend more time at the dump.

I would probably just turn it into a row boat.

That could very easily happen. It’s already been discussed. Other things discussed include the output pressure of various water pumps. I mean there’s already a ready-made hole in the hull courtesy of the truant centreboard...

Oh yeah. We’ve found some gems, alright, including a walk-behind zamboni about the size (and shape) of a typical lawn mower.

Have you set up a rink in your back yard?

It’s been hitting 30+°C/ 90°F for the last week or so, so no.
Also it doesn’t run. We haven’t dicked around with it too much yet though.

Not in my own yard, but I’ve assisted with others. Although I’m a bigger fan of shovelling off ponds.
